http://anidb.net/ch3150 [Takehara Akiyuki], lives on Sentan Island, a land that has preserved its status as a free and peaceful island in a world consumed by fighting between the Northern and Southern Governments. All of this changes when Akiyuki boards a bus along with a mysterious white-haired girl who transforms his arm with the lost memories and power of Xam`d.
As Xam`d, Akiyuki goes on a rampage and is saved when a foreign girl with red hair named http://anidb.net/ch3114 [Nakiami] calms him down, taking him back to her postal vessel. Akiyuki now must gain control of his powers and use them against the Northern Government`s latest weapons, known as Humanforms. Travelling the world on a postal vessel, Akiyuki hopes to return home one day, but until then he befriends other passengers on the boat.

Good plot – bad ending, really confusing
Great animation, intriguing plot!
The beginning is intriguing and nicely done but ending is usual unsatisfying anime crap.
it`s very similar to `Eureka Seven`, but great too.

If you liked Eureka7 and Nausicaa, you have to watch it. Great graphics, awesome music, good story, lovable characters.
Very Good Animation and good plot line gives this one a solid 8.0. Bad Points, Plot could have been done better. Weak Ending. If you liked Eureka 7, you should enjoy this one.
Surprisingly complex world, yet not overwhelming due to the slow plot development. Ending was a bit off and one of the end part didn`t make sense to me, but it was a great journey. Good Character development. Enjoyed watching it. Nice work!
I have heard a lot of mix reviews of this anime but to me it was really really good. The animation reminded me of Beast player Erin with Eureka 7 hints. The story is good and the characters are great. It was an entertaining anime.
Exceptionally visual stunning , but the story still leaving a lot of questions unanswered and has a tendency of turning into a mess . Intended to give it a 7.5 but there is only round score so I just went on with 8 .
A little hard to grasp the understanding of the world`s setting, but otherwise a fantastic and addictive anime X)
This is a serious show that primarily deals with how to overcome from grief. Honestly, I wish it was more action oriented, but that`s just because I have bad taste. Watch it, you`ll be pleasantly surprised.
I absolutely loved this anime, one of my favourites, apart from the flying vagina`s…amirite.
Nice story and really good animation. It was an enjoyable watch. Still its not for every one to watch. The story is packed with Tragedy, Death, Misfortune and Drama. It would have been one of my favorites if not for its sad ending.

One of the best anime i watched in last few years.
What this anime excels at is the cast. There is not a single unlikable character and everyone serves his/her own purpose in an outstanding way. This and the great animation and storyline make this one of the best anime I have ever seen.

…Simply stunning, magnificent and super – in one word: subarashii. Characters, their evolution, soundtrack, animation, original plot – everything is on the highest level!
Though this title has complicated world and one really has to pay attention while watching! If you don`t feel like thinking much during watching think twice, as you will either understand and appreciate the complexity or you won`t understand 90% of things and say this is stupid. Not much is explained straight so using a brain is a must At this point even for non-scifi fans it should be a must watch. As for me, this series left me with one of the most vivid bitter-sweet aftertaste ever after ending – it might as well make you cry like a baby, even tho not all is dramatic.
Just amazing… Everything about this is awesome. The flow of the story doesnt feel rushed or to slow, its pace is perfect. This is one of those anime`s where you`re missing out if u skip this, this is not only entertaining, but its just…. damn words cant describe it xD
