If you watched Azumanga, this is must see #2, something you must pick up right after.
Essentially, the production company becomes popular making series` like this after, and starts the whole “school-girl slice-of-life moe” genre. There was a reason this kind of series had a boom: If Azumanga is pioneer, this series is the pinnacle.
This is the best attemp already accomplished in making a anime in which the main characters are children really think like one.
You see a lot of anime/manga revolving around aged children that are concerned about things they absolutly do not concern or you see the author making them interact in a way children also do not.
For that reason, this anime is the best that have fulfilled this SO HARD MISSION of making children LOOK, THINK and ACT LIKE CHILDREN.
I have not seen every episode yet but i must recommend this anime to anyone trying to learn Japanese. The vocabulary used is not that advanced so it´s easy to understand. Might help you understand harder things in the future.
This is the most awesome and most hilarious show ever.
It also has loli`s.
Very relaxed, really good comedy.
