* Based on a light novel series by http://anidb.net/cr5617 [Shigusawa Keiichi]. This movie follows a story from the seventh book.
In this movie, http://anidb.net/ch7856 [Kino] is still undergoing training with the Master. This backstory shows the franchise`s lead character learning to ride http://anidb.net/ch7857 [Hermes], to handle all sorts of firearms, and other such skills. However, upon meeting a traveler in the woods, Kino remembers a scene from the past, and decides to undertake a mission.
Note: The incomplete version of the movie was shown at the Tokyo Kokusai Entertainment Market (Entama) festival on the 23.10.2004. The complete version was sold with the novel`s limited edition starting the 30.03.2005. Public screening started on 19.02.2005.
