The appearance of Mushi can cause grave harm to humans, and only a select few humans know of their existence and can see them. [Ginko], a Mushi-shi, travels the land to investigate the Mushi. But his special ability comes at a price: he cannot stay at any place for too long, or the Mushi will congregate there, endangering those close to him. So, the gentle and wise man must keep on travelling, trying to resolve Mushi-related supernatural occurrences.
