Many young adventurers journey across the changing Rune Midgard Kingdom, such as http://anidb.net/ch8011 [Yuufa], an acolyte, who has said her goodbyes to her brother Orki`s grave, and http://anidb.net/ch8010 [Roan] her childhood friend, a swordsman.
Yuufa and Roan meet many unique people on their journey: http://anidb.net/ch8013 [Maaya], a merchant travelling with her Poring http://anidb.net/ch8020 [Poipoi]. http://anidb.net/ch8014 [Judia], an excellent hunter who likes fortune telling, and http://anidb.net/ch8012 [Takius], a mysterious mage always wearing a blindfold.
The two are oblivious to the fate that awaits them, in their fight against the shadows that loom over the kingdom. But these encounters only strengthen the bonds between the adventurers, and per chance may even leave time for Roan`s feelings for Yuufa to blossom.

This show makes no sense if you`ve played the game and it feels as if they just didn`t care.
It`s worth a watch but not more than that.
While its lacks knowledge of the game, Ragnarok still is a great anime, i loved everything, even knowing how much wrong some things are, for me a player of the game (at the time that i watched) the anime was magnificent, i felt love for the characters, i suffered when Maaya screamed, and even without a sound i heard her.
