Heed the warning: NOT FOR MOE/LOLI haters.
If you seek deep, enthrilling plot, look elsewhere too. I wonder where the times of Slam Dunk and Gigi la Trottola went too 😛
The amount of sacharine, cutness in this show might make you have “puke” syndroms ^^.
On the plus side, the ending was done properly, ie. won`t leave you disappointed (at least, I was happy it ended like that, leaving nothing to be desired, even without 2nd season.)
I could also add that I liked overcoming of problems or something in this show…
Can only recommend to moe overload/loli fans really. Sport fans and rest avoid as plague 😉

I came into this thinking it was going to be pretty lame, but honestly, it was very well done. The relationship between Subaru and the girls he coached was actually depicted pretty well. The series had a few sweet moments, but it never outright strayed into full blown romance which I think was perfect given the ages of the characters and the relative shortness of the series. Instead, it focused on each individual girl`s growth as a basketball player as well as Subaru`s growth as a coach. Some of the girls had less development than others, but overall, it was a very enjoyable watch. There is a lot of fanservice (bath scenes with soap suds covering the important parts), but I guess it all depends on how you look at it. I wouldn`t watch this with my family, but I didn`t particularly find anything to be erotic which was another plus in my book. Also, the ending was satisfying, something that doesn`t happen too often.
