Due to her admiration of popular idol HAYATO, Nanami Haruka dreams of becoming a music producer. For this reason, she enrolls in the music producer course of Saotome Academy. Well there were actually two reasons why I finished watching this show – 1) The animation – the character desing is really nice and suits the genre pretty well 2) the soundtrack – I didn`t like the songs first but then I sometimes found myself singing the melodies without actually realizing it so I have to admit they`re quite catchy. But except of that there is nothing much interesting about this anime – the plot is.. well there is none, and the heroine is even more naive than you would probably expect of this kind of show which makes her really annoying. Only for fans 🙂
Just like any other shoujo reverse harem anime. Nothing exceptional besides animation and seiyuu cast.
It`s not bad, a lot better than most harem series regardless of if the target audience is male or female. It follows a lot of the cliches of this genre, by far it doesn`t handle its premise as well as it could and I think it would have been more enjoyable had they tried to be more serious but overall it was quite cute.
Im not into jpop much but the soundtrack was very well done. I was looking forward to each new song. Animation is quite pleasing. Characters have nice chara design. Heroine is traditionaly naive little girl but her design makes her look more plain and ordinary than it`s usual and I appreciated that about her a lot.
Plot wise it`s regular reverse harem but animation and soundtrack make this worth recommending for the fans of the genre.
They could have done a lot more with all the different plot elements and could have done without a couple of plot elements as well. But it`s a cute anime sadly full of clichés and thin story line. Typical reverse harem anime, but the songs are nice (the lyrics aren`t that good but that`s only a problem if you actually understand what they`re singing) and I loved the way they coloured this animation.
Surprisingly enjoyable, mostly thanks to some really great songs. Well, some songs you get the feeling they`re halfway done with totally uninspiring chorus. A kind, gentle and a bit shy female protagonist, what to say, the only dis-likable thing is her clouded eyes. Average quality overall, perhaps a tad underrated but there is hardly any character development, the characters are quite colorful and the songs are good.
Plot-wise it is rather typical “shy, kind person making lots of friends” and that way somewhat inspirational and feelgood. Won`t really allow the harem to settle, it`s all shallow rivalry and abrupted sentences saying “I love…(exciting pause with heartbeats) …to make music! (what a shocking downer!) Not much of drama like you`d see in seinen/josei shows.
Recommended for ppl liking music like j-pop, shoujo with bishounen and comedy-drama.
